Celina Jaitley raised funds for elephants

25 year old elephant Laxmi being knocked down by a truck distressed quite a few people including sexpot Celina Jaitley. Even actor Rahul Khanna recently wrote to the CM regarding the ruthless plight of elephants. “Elephants are social creatures who spend about 18 hours a day walking, feeding, bathing in water holes and interacting with other elephants. They are intelligent and sensitive animals and are known to mourn the loss of a relative, just as humans do,” writes Rahul. As per reports, Celina Jaitley has taken up the cause of Indian elephants kept at various national parks and zoos across the European Union. Celina is an animal lover and is involved in a charity auction for collecting funds for elephants. The charity event was recently held in Zurich wherein she managed to collect one million Swiss francs. The money was then handed over to various animal welfare organizations.
