Yanni is the only artist who has had the honors of giving a concert performance in India’s pride Taj Mahal and our Bollywood sex kitten Mallika Sherawat had the pleasure of meeting this talented music group while she was at the Ivy restaurant in Los Angeles with producers of her first American-Indo film “Hisss”. The actress had been there after being invited as a VIP guest to the Kuala Lumpur film festival to present some of the awards.
There she met the legendary multiple Oscar and Grammy winning music producer Ric Wake and world famous New Age composer Yanni. The duo is on a world tour now and will be performing at LA’s Nokia Theatre on June 23 with their current musical tour de force, “Yanni’s Voices”. Mallika was in talks with them to perform in an upcoming special concert in India. The concert may see Mallika doing a snake goddess dance from “Hisss”.

Such is her airs that not many men in Bollywood can say no when Sex kitten Mallika Sherawat asks for something. Even Big B couldn’t say no to her when she offered to go for jogging in slow motion on National Television.
But finally one man has emerged to have guts to refuse her. Apparently, it is Kay Kay Menon who turned down the role that Mallika offered him in her home production Hisss.
Mallika and Menon have already worked in Sanjay Chhel’s ‘
Maan Gaye Moghal-E-Azam’ and in her promotional interviews for the film she openly praised his work. So, when she came upon the question of an actor for an important and intense role in her film, naturally Kay Kay’s name cropped in her mind. She then sent her team over to him with the script.
However, after few days Kay Kay called Mallika and refused the offer saying that the script was definitely interesting and that he was confident that she would make a good film but he cannot see himself in that part that she has offered him in the film.

The sensuous lady Malaika Arora Khan is going to appear in Farah Khan’s next venture ‘
Om Shanti Om’. The film is being produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
In the film, Malaika plays a superwoman clad in red gown and flying off rooftops. Her character is sweet and funny and something she hasn’t ever done before. Well, the news is that Malaika acted in the film for free as a token of friendship for Farah Khan. But Farah and Shah Rukh surprised Malaika by sending her a gift hamper of cards, flowers, a Tag Heuer watch and cell phone. Now, that is a superwoman friendship!!

After much speculation about whether Sherawat will make that much-touted appearance in Kannada cinema, she finally landed in Bangalore to shoot an item number for ‘<strong>Preethi Yeke Bhoomi Melide</strong>’. Well, the actress has apparently taken things in her stride and is clarifying, if not to the media, then to her friends at least - as to her reasons for doing the show. According to sources, Mallika sherawat has now been appoached to judge a show for Rs 1.5 crore. But it obviously isn’t enough, for mallika is still negotiating for more. Preethi Eke Bhoomi Melidhe. Mallika has charged the makers a bomb for the film which requires just six days of shoot. This is not the first time for her that she will be seen in the southern movies. At the suceess party of this venture, Mallika Sherawat wore heels and was towering high above her short fello-men Rahul Bose and producer Pritish Nandy, for example. Last year, ‘Munni’ and ‘Sheila’ took the item numbers to a new height in Bollywood. As such it does not come as a surprise when every Bollywood beauty now wants to shake a leg on some raunchy number. Mallika Sherawat, who has already proved her excellence in item songs with ‘Maiya Maiya’ is all set to be seen sizzling in two item numbers shortly.
After the raunchy item song ‘Razia Gundo Mein Phas Gayi’ in the upcoming comedy ‘Thank You’, Mallika further dons on a ghaghra and skimpiest choli for a desi-themed item song in director Indra Kumar’s comedy film ‘Double Dhamaal’ in which she is also the leading lady.
The four day schedule of this song titled ‘Jalebi Bai’ was shot at Mehboob Studios, where a lavish set of a casino was created to give the song the right look and feel. The song has been choreographed by ace dance master Ganesh Acharya and music is by Anand Raj Anand. The movie is slated to hit theatres this June. Double Dhamaal stars Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade and Aashish Choudhary.
