Preity Zinta Absent, Ness Wadia Present…..What’s the matter Boss?

The event was Bombay Dying Gladrags Mrs.India 2007 and many of our Bollywood celebrities were there including Anupam Kher and Sanjay Dutt as judges. The fact we noticed was Preity Zinta’s absence on a Maureen Wadia’s event. Maureen is Ness Wadia’s mother and the lad was very much there to support his mother. (Do we need to introduce Ness Wadia here, who has maintained a very long and more or less stable relationship with Preity?). When Maureen was asked about her straining relations with Preity, she answered, “Have you heard anything like that? I haven’t. So all I can say is ‘No Comments!’”. Hmmm…. I think we hit the right chord, Pals.

Preity Zinta and Bobby Deol in a fighting fit

Khabris have heard about red, hot fight between Preity Zinta and Bobby Deol on the sets of Shaad Ali’s ‘Jhoom Bara Bar Jhoom‘ in London. It so happened that a song sequence was being shot and Bobby had to maintain curls in his hair for continuity in the song. Chulbuli Preity hid the actor’s curling iron which sent our Punjabi Munda mad with rage. Although Zinta did apologize but Deol refused to shoot further. Dear Bobby, Good Boys are supposed to make up with ‘Preity’ Gals, isn’t it?

With every other actress vying for that one classic role of a lifetime, whether it’s a remake or first time original , we wondered what Preity Zinta, known for her cool, chic, contemporary image on-screen has to say, “It’s good to see well-made remakes happening in Bollywood. I can’t say that I will not be a part of remakes, because every few years down the line if I do a classic remake, U don’t want to say, ‘I am Doing this as a tribute to this or that,’ I would love to portraya classic role for the right reason,” As always, we love the zing in her attitude. Preity Zinta is the most chiiled out babe in Bollywood. Preity is a star alright, but she rarely wears the haughty starry attitude on her sleeve. And that’s why everyone loves her. She wanted to go for the Guru music launch that happened over the weekend, but her driver was missing from the scene. Preity asked her cousin Inder, if he could drive her down to the event, and he obviously obliged. What she didn’t know was that Inder’s car didn’t have dark tinted windows. So all through the way she had on lookers peeping in and exclaiming, “Look, Look,look Preity Zinta.” Even at the gas station, with preity sitting next to the driver’s seat, no one could miss her. Tired of hiding her face for long, she looked at them and said, “yes it’s Preity Zinta. Now what?” Later she added, “I wish I had a towel: I would have put it on my head and sat.” Now that’s PJ for you, a coll cat!

Preity Zinta is such a cool babe - not only id she have a blast with the kids during the special screening she hosted for them; Preity Zinta was even sporting the clothes that she wore in Jaan-E-Mann. In fact, she’s never enjoyed the pre-release of her film as much as she did this time. “Since Koi Mil Gaya, I haven’t been here for any of my releases, and this tome, I was sure I wanted to have a great time. And what better way then with kids? Ther are so pure, so henoest; they love us unconditionally. With them around, there is so much of positive energy. And I am sure we could with a bit of that. More than anything, it was about having a nice time with everyone. They had a rocking time, and i did too. After all life is a big celebration!”

Ask her about kids in their tens and teens behaving like young adults these days. “Todays’s eight year old has the mind and intelligence of a thirteen-year-old. Kids even loved Salaam Namste, a movie centering around live-in relationships. My friend’s daughter said, ‘Preity maasi, I loved it when you puked into saif’s topi.’ I was baffled at her reaction. If kids like a mature film like that, I am sure they will love Jaan-E-Maan, and they will want to see it a hundred times over and not get bored,” says Preity Zinta. Recent.y, on the night of the Jaan-E-Mann bash, Preity Zinta was an hour late for the event, but no one knows exactly what happened. She was stuck in a horrible traffic jam. Well, thats not something new, one has heard of it before but there is more to it. There was a huge truck ahead of her vehicle that just wouldn’t budge. As a result, all cars on that road came to frozen halt. Preity, in her casual style, got out of the car and belowed at the driver. Seeing her on the road, everyone’s jaw dropped, and eyes lit up and the traffic came to a comlete halt, only this time on one was complaining.

Preity Zinta: Falling for a hit!

Bollywood and superstition go hand in hand, some of them have a name - while others have a letter-fixation, Preity Zinta has none of it. She has a rather strange way of predicting the success of a film; she thinks that whenever she falls on a set while shooting for a film, the film is bound to be a huge hit. During the shooting of Sajid Nadiadwala’s Jaan-e-Mann she tripped on the set. But later she realised who the culprit was. It was none other than chreographer Farah Khan who tricked her into tripping for her hubby Shirish Kunder’s film. When preity zinta fell down, farah screamed, “Preity has fallen; we have a hit film.” And everyone on the set started clapping and if it turns out to be true, Preity will have lots of falling to do in the future. Preity Zinta Liked Shooting in London

Preity Zinta, as a kid i was too excited about London and the tower bridge, Preity Zinta said in london. She told the ‘high point’ of her shooting in london was a shot taken at the tower bridge. Preity Zinta is in london in connection with the launch of the movie, which would be released worldwide in october this year. Preity remarked that she is unlikely to work in a hollywood producton unless an exceptional role comes across. “I don’t see myself working in a Hollywood film, unless i come across an exceptional role,” said Preity Zinta. Preity Zinta encourages Salman Khan to break Guinness World Records

Well, with Preity Zinta hosting the Guinness Book Of World Records, we can well hope to see hep and happening Bollywood stars on the show every now and then. So, when actor Salman Khan tried one more go for getting his name etched in the Guinness Book of World Records (he already has quite a few records to his name), he chose the most apt ‘T-shirt Ripping’ activity for the world record. The current world record stands at 14 and Salman wants to improve it by aiming to tear at least 15 tee shirts.
