Katrina Kaif has worked very hard these days and with her recnt release ‘New York’ enjoying huge success, she well deserves a holiday.Katrina says, “Akshay had his party for Kambkakkt Ishq. I want to be here for our party. It’s a very special film for all of us. And I didn’t want to miss the moment for anything. Besides, all my sisters aren’t reaching London until . So I can delay by a day.”Katrina, who is very much in a party mood is going on a 3 month long holiday where she will be with her mother, brother and sisters and will also celebrate her birthday with them. Her family has plaaned a surprise for her on her birthday and Katrina just wants to relish the suspense.As for her holiday destination, she says, “We net-searched, googled and finally found a place we wanted to visit.It was tough because there was no place the entire family would agree on. Or if we all liked a place there was no vacancy. We finally found a place that we all liked.”“Quite honestly I haven’t been with my whole family for a long time. I’ve been preparing for my holiday for ages. I’ve been working like a mad woman trying to finish all my work on time. It got especially hectic as the time for me to leave approached. I was dubbing for Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and shooting two songs for Priyan’s De Dana Dan. At one point I thought I wouldn’t finish on time. But I did. And I’m really looking forward to my time with my family.”

The visit to the Guantanamo Bay prison horrifies Katrina

Recently Katrina Kaif got an opportunity to visit the security prison at Guantanamo Bay as she shot for a movie at the place. The place horrified the delicate beauty so much that she was left drained and gloomy after her visit to the place. When she came face to face with the stories of brutality and tortures associated with the prison, she was absolutely shocked.A depressed Katrina said, “We are not making a documentary on 9/11 and so this film is highly entertaining yet very realistic. We shot in actual locations associated with the 9/11 attacks and Guantanamo was one of them. I was there for just a day to shoot my portions. It was shocking to see the high-profile prison where people who were sentenced for their lives were also living.”“I did not meet any person arrested and jailed in connection with the terror attacks. But I have heard stories about them when I was shooting there. I am no longer in Sholay - Katrina Kaif

The latest update on ram gopal varma’s Sholay is that Katrina, who was supposed to play Radha, the role essayed by Jaya Bachchan in ramesh sippy’s sholay, is out of the film. Now, the filmmaker is on the lookout for an actor who can fit into the role. The buzz doing the rounds is that varma has already approached Sushmita sen to replace Katrina, although her presence is not confirmed. “Sushmita sen spoke to ramu, she has also had a narration. And she has promised to get back to him as soon as possible,” says TOI source.

Katrina Kaif looks gorgeous at STV launch

Gossip columns had been abuzz of late that Katrina Kaif would be shooting a dance number with her ex-flame Salman Khan in the upcoming film Joker which stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha. Being directed by Shirish Kunder, there were talks that Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan would be making a special appearance together in this flick. Both Kaif and Salman share a very close relationship with Farah Khan, Shirish’s wife. However, Katrina has refused to shoot any dance number with Sallu Bhai as both have parted ways now. Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif: Too close for verbal fights??

Both Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have proved lucky for each other delivering many hits together (De Dana Dan, Blue, Singh Is Kinng, Welcome, Namastey London and Humko Deewana Kar Gaye) but this time the two fell out after a nasty verbal argument when Kaif refusal to shoot a music video with Akki for ‘Tees Maar Khan’.
Katrina seemed to have refused the actor point blankly on her dates which she had already allotted for Yash Raj Films a film with Imran Khan. Akshay asked for these dates to shoot the music video reminding Kats for all the favors he had made for her with his dates in the past. The fight went to the extent of making the two stop words with each other.
Here, Farah Khan stepped in to sort out the matters. She spoke to Katrina, who managed to speak to YRF and has got permission to shoot the title video track of the film on October 15, 2010, which has the entire star cast.
However, both the actors have vehemently denied the story of their fight. Akshay commented, “Katrina and I go back a long way and she is a dear friend of mine and has always been there. I would like to clarify that she is one of the most professional stars we have and she and I are amused with these reports since there is absolutely no truth to them.” On the other hand Farah Khan too spoke up - “There is absolutely no problem between any of us. Katrina is a wonderful girl and very professional. She has done a great job in Tees Maar Khan.”
Katrina, on the other hand, too, seemed shocked and said, “Well, what more should I say? I guess Akshay and Farah have already stated the facts. See, these stories are malicious. These are all fabricated lies. Akshay and I share a wonderful equation so the entire talk about us getting into an argument just doesn’t make any sense. Also, how I wish that people find out truth instead of fabricating stories.”
