Minissha Lamba upbeat about upcoming films

Actress <strong>Minissha Lamba</strong>, who forayed into filmdom with Yahaan, wil be seenin two different avtars in 2007. In Reema Kahti’s <strong>Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd</strong> she is paired with Abhay Deol and they play a parsi couple. Minissha  says it is one of the sweetest scripts she’s heard to date.

I like Saif’s intense eyes - Minissha Lamba

“I wanted to be a war journalist. Working in the indian film industry was never option,” says Minissha Lamba. An english graduate from miranda house, DU, this pretty actress always had big aspirations. “Since childhood, I wanted to face the camera with a mike in hand and report the war scene across the world. The books I read and movies I watched, influenced me greatly,” avers she. Minissha sees herself working towards restoring peace some years down the line.Initially, Minissha was apprehensive about her plunge into movies. She shares, “After college, I did a few modelling assignments where i was spotted by Pradeep Sarkar and Yahaan happened.” But film as a career was a tough decision for her to take. “I didn’t know what to do. After much thought, I realised that i had to choose one career over the other and grow in it. And so I gave in.”Saif Ali tops the list when she talks about her favourites in the industry. “Saif Is vulnerable, has a boyish charm to him, which he maintains with his ‘manly’ image. Crowd mobs Minissha Lamba shooting in a beachwear

If you have Minissha Lamba flaunting her assets in beachwear, you can definitely not blame anyone if they gather in to enjoy a treat for their eyes. So, when the hottie who had created stirs with her two piece photo shoot for ‘Maxim’ was shooting for a popular men’s magazine in a beachwear in Goa’s most loved beach Baga beach, onlookers gathered in crowds and some even started clicking her on their cell phones.
Unable to handle the huge crowd, the unit immediately shifted to another, more secluded, Agonda beach which is one of the virgin beaches of Goa, where Minissha could carry on with the shoot in a relaxed manner. However, the unit had to manage with wastage of one complete day out of three scheduled days of the shoot.
Minissha Lamba is all in for water sports and the shoots were taken under water & showing her surfing. “I had a fantabulous time shooting for the cover with the team especially with the photographer Colston Julian as he is a dear friend of mine. The shoot was not a difficult task for me as I am a national level swimmer. I love water, we also clicked few pictures me surfing it was easy as I had learned surfing in Australia,” Minissha shares her experience of the shoot.
“Yes the crowd was getting little out of control but the quick thinking from the editorial team saved the day,” she added.
