Vidya Balan says no to her mentor

Inspite of a debut film like Parineeta which launched her into the big league, Vidya balan has refused her mentor, Pradeep Sarkar’s next for Yashraj Films saying that she doesn’t have enough dates. Meanwhile, she is enjoying the success of Lage Raho Munnabhai and has just completed vidhu vinod chopra’s Eklavya, Mani ratnam’s Guru and portions of Nikhil Advani’s Sallam-E-Ishq. But life moves on and vidya’s loss is Konkona Sen Sharma’s gain. A source says, “Vidya has chosen opt out of pradeep sarkar’s film and konkona sen has been finalised to fill her shoes. However it is unclear why she has opted out considering that the entire cast is yet to be finalised and the shooting dates have not been fixed yet. She has commited to sajid khan’s Hey baby and a south film Dasavatharan. Besides thos Rituparno Ghosh’s Rahgeer is yet to take off.” Source: ‘Times Of India’
