Koena Mitra: Bong with the best!

This dusky beauty from Kolkata took the modelling world by storm after winning the tag of a supermodel. Now Koena Mitra is making waves in Bollywood. “I am proud to be known as the next Bengali sensation,” koena says. “Earlier, it was actors like Jata Bhaduri, Rakhee and Sharmila Tagore who filled the slot and now we have the likes of Rani mukherji, Bipasha Basu, Sushmita sen and Tanushree Dutta Leaving audiences spellbound. I hope i can be the next link in the Bonf Kadi,” Koena laughs. Though a trained dancer who’s given some splendid performances in songs like ‘Saki saki re, Koena seems fed up of her item number image. “I won’t do any more item numbers.
