“I wanted to be a war journalist. Working in the indian film industry was never option,” says Minissha Lamba. An english graduate from miranda house, DU, this pretty actress always had big aspirations. “Since childhood, I wanted to face the camera with a mike in hand and report the war scene across the world. The books I read and movies I watched, influenced me greatly,” avers she. Minissha sees herself working towards restoring peace some years down the line.Initially, Minissha was apprehensive about her plunge into movies. She shares, “After college, I did a few modelling assignments where i was spotted by Pradeep Sarkar and Yahaan happened.” But film as a career was a tough decision for her to take. “I didn’t know what to do. After much thought, I realised that i had to choose one career over the other and grow in it. And so I gave in.”Saif Ali tops the list when she talks about her favourites in the industry. “Saif Is vulnerable, has a boyish charm to him, which he maintains with his ‘manly’ image. I like his intense eyes too,” says Minissha lamba. Source: ‘Times of India’
